How to Apply for a Scholarship
This scholarship honors the spirit of ski patrollers no longer with us by recognizing students who embrace the same spirit and passion for skiing and outdoor adventure. The recipient will be a student who is a skier or snowboarder with an understanding of the dynamic nature of recreating and/or working outdoors safely, and has the desire to help others do the same through knowledge, teamwork and creative problem solving.
Who Can Apply
Any Teton County High School student or any student who has a parent working for the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
How to Apply
Students are required to complete the Teton County Common Application, provide a current transcript and write an essay. The essay should be a one-page narrative about a challenging situation or problem that you had to overcome. Describe how you tackled the challenge and what you learned from the experience about one or more of the following: your personal strengths, leadership, group dynamics, decision making, problem solving and/or teamwork.
